Internal Audit Officer – Operations and Financial

The job:

Reporting to the Principal Auditor

  • Conducting compliance, financial, performance and operations audits
  • Carrying out special consultancy and investigative assignments
  • Conducting followup on implementations of audits recommendations
  • Conducting quality assessment reviews of audit work
  • Participating in internal audit department strategic, annual and business plans
The person
  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy, finance, banking or any relevant degree from a recognized institution
  • Must be between 25 – 30 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience

Must have
  • Good knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, audit techniques, testing and sampling methods involved in conducting audits
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with ability to interact effectively
  • Sound knowledge of accounting standards and the institute of internal auditors international professional practice framework
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint
  • Knowledge in use of automated audit working papers will have an added advantage
  • Team player and ability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines



Human Resource Assistant

The job:
Reporting to the supervisor, human resources administration

Duties:

  • Facilitating recruitment process
  • Assisting in administration
  • Monitoring staff attendance
  • Maintaining manual and electronic personnel records
  • Providing customer care and providing other HR services
  • Supporting industrial relations activities

Qualifications:
MSCE, Diploma in Human Resources or Business Management, be between 25 and 30 years of age

Must have:

  • In depth knowledge of human resources policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of employment act and labour laws
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Good communication and customer care skills
  • Drafting skills
  • Computer skills


Administrative Assistant

The job:
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resource Administration

Duties:

  • Managing the office
  • Managing records and information
  • Providing public relations and protocol services
  • Provide administrative services pertaining to travel, meetings and seminars

The person:

  • Must possess a diploma in secretarial management studies
  • 3 years’ experience
  • Must be between 25 and 30 years of age


Must have:

  • Office management skills
  • Public relations skill
  • Computer knowledge
  • Customer care skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Effective written communication
  • Decision maker




Issuing Officer

The job:

  • Updating bin cards
  • Issuing of stock
  • Monitoring of stock
  • Undertaking stock taking

 The person:

  • Certificate in purchasing and supply under CIPs and MSCE
  • Must have 2 years experience in stores operations
  • Should be between 25 and 30 years of age


Must have:

  • Good understanding of accounting principles
  • Communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Analystical skills
